(Temporary Seasonal)
The Town of North West River seeks to employ a temporary seasonal Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO). The successful applicant must possess the following:
High School graduation certificate/GED
Driver License Class 03 and 08 with Air Brake Endorsement
Journeyperson Certificate and/or
Minimum of Five (5) years working experience as an HEO
Minimum of one (1) years' experience with at least three (3) of the following pieces of equipment: Front End Loader, Grader, Backhoe, Tandem Dump Truck.
Applications will be accepted for this position until 4:00pm on Friday, November 11, 2022.

We would like to inform residents that CBCL will be conducting a bridge inspection on Goose River bridge starting Oct. 17 and expecting to be completed by Oct.22. Traffic flow won't be interrupted during peak traffic times. Traffic control will be in place to close 1 lane between the hours of 9:30-3:30 when required. All applicable signage will also be in place.

The Town Office will be closed Monday October 10th in observance of Thanksgiving Day. The regular council meeting for the month of October is Monday October 17 at 7 pm.

Well summer is closing in on us. We hope everyone had an enjoyable summer, especially our school children!
As most of you may know by now, Pat has retired after working with the town for 28 years. He began in 1990 as assistant to Ray Montague. When Ray retired Pat assumed his role as Maintenance Supervisor. Which he worked for accumulative time of 15 years. Many thanks for his service in keeping things going over the years. He will be missed by all, however promised he will be around to...
