We will have a representative from the Canadian Firearms Program at the Sheshatshiu Detachment on October 18th, 2021 from approximately 11AM (if flight is on time) until 4:30PM to help assist anyone with license applications (taking and printing photos, helping people complete the forms) and answering firearms licensing related questions.

The meeting to swear in the council of 2021-2025 will take place 7:00 pm on Tuesday October 5th. Due to Covid restrictions, this meeting will not be open to public. It will be available by audio. As a council and municipality,we will see how best to move forward with the technology available, as the provincial benchmark of September, as we all hoped for, is past us, and all still changes daily. Contact the town office for call-in information by 4:30pm tomorrow.

Access to CRB gas station will be via Sunday Hill Rd tomorrow Saturday October 2 while culverts are being installed. Class B Crush stone will be put in place over the weekend. Paving on Montague and Airstrip Rd will take place on October 5 and 6 . Tks to everyone for your patience.

Since there was a tie for 7th place, a draw had to be held as per Section 60 of the Municipal Elections act. As a result Ann Cooper is the 7th councillor.
