As a Council and staff, it took a lot of time and patience to get this project started, and now as work is being done, we would like to thank YOU for your patience. We know it is frustrating for all of us. We have expressed our concerns with consultant and contractor regarding Airstrip Rd. not being maintained in a satisfactory condition, we questioned why crew is being taking from the site at Montague St. to work elsewhere. We also reminded them of the scheduled completion date.
We were advised that there is an estimated 3-4 days of work on Paddon/Montague and 2-3 days of work on Airstrip. Asphalt will be tentatively ready by end of month or first week in October.
Once again thank you for your patience, it means a lot to us, hopefully soon, the dust, rocks, and bumps are a bad memory!!
