Nominations of candidates for election to the Council for the Municipality of North West River will be received between the hours of:

Thursday September 2nd 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Friday September 3rd 9:00 am - 4:00pm
At the Town Office, 1 Mission Road, North West River, NL.

Meeting for month of August will be Thursday August 5 at 7:00pm. Anyone wishing to attend by phone can do so by calling the town office by 3:00pm on same day.

Residents are being advised that road work, in preparation for paving, will be taking place on Airstrip Rd. today July 30th and Tuesday August 3rd. Sections of the road from CRB Gas Station to Portage Rd intersection will be temporarily closed. Follow posted signs and proceed with caution.

The wheeled Garbage Containers that fit the new Garbage truck have arrived. Call, email, or stop by the town office Monday and Tuesday for delivery and payment arrangements.
We want to remind residents, garbage is to be put out by roadside by 8:30 am on scheduled pickup up day in a wheeled container or in bags, under a "fling it" net, preferably. "Fling it" nets are available free of charge.
Recyclable beverage containers can be placed in a box or clear bag separately.
