Trucks will be accessing the pit until Friday, May 22. We want to remind residents, especially those with children, who live at top of Portage Rd and Montague St, to please take extra care at this time.

We hope everyone is staying healthy and safe as we move into Level 4 of COVID-19.
What does Level 4 mean?
Level 4 does not change Municipal operations. The office will remain open to the public by appointment only. We are working with Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador seeking further clarification of the role of Municipalities in reopening, and what it means for municipal operations. Please take notice that 3 Grey Rock trucks will be accessing the Gravel Pit on Tuesday May 12. They have been advised to respect speed signs, watch for pedestrian traffic and not use engine braking.
